Hubby and I went out for an early V-Day dinner at a restaurant kitty corner from where we were married 10 years ago next month. We walked along where we took our wedding party out ‘bar hopping’ and did some window shopping along the stores. We stopped in a jewelry store and joked around with the owner and the salesmen–trying on jewelry (a 13k tanzanite ring, etc) fooling around. I found a ring I did like–one that is my tax return or my mortgage twice over. All in all when I was out of the store my husband bought it for me–and is having my wedding set repaired (I lost a diamond years ago). It will be ready Saturday and then we’re going to dinner with the owner to celebrate. I love the ring but I am having a hard time wearing it knowing how much it was and knowing we are already flat broke. Why??
